How Our Startup Studio Helps You Succeed in the Canada Startup Visa Program

After years working with incubators and accelerators in Canada, I’ve seen international startups struggle—not from lack of talent, but from not understanding the nuances of entering the Canadian market.

From regulatory challenges to ecosystem dynamics, it’s a delicate process. I started Scaleup Vision to give founders the local insight, strategy, and support they need to land and grow successfully in Canada.

Canada offers a strong, innovation-friendly ecosystem with access to world-class talent, government grants, global markets, and startup support infrastructure. It’s a strategic entry point for companies looking to expand into North America and beyond.

Common challenges include:

  • Navigating regulatory and legal requirements
  • Adapting go-to-market and sales strategies
  • Localizing product-market fit
  • Building local partnerships and credibility
  • Understanding Canadian business culture

We help you overcome each of these with proven frameworks and local expertise.

Ideally, you should have:

  • A validated idea or MVP

  • Initial traction or early user insights

  • Ambition to enter the Canadian market within the next 3–12 months

We work with both idea-stage and revenue-generating companies preparing for market expansion.

We offer expert consulting services including:

  • Product Discovery, Ideation, Development, and Deployment

  • Scalable Business Model Design

    • Go-To-Market Strategy for Canada &  Early Traction
  • Marketing Automations Implementation

Each service includes hands-on support and startup-ready deliverables.

We offer both short-term and long-term engagement options tailored to your startup’s needs.

Short-term sprints may focus on specific goals—such as building your MVP or gaining early traction through events and pilot programs in Canada.

For founders applying through the Canada Startup Visa Program, we offer longer-term programs that guide you through every stage: from securing a letter of support from a designated Canadian incubator, to product discovery, development, launch, and settling down in Canada.

No. Our programs are fully accessible to international founders and teams. We operate remotely and adjust for your time zone to ensure smooth, productive collaboration.

If relocation is part of your plan, we offer soft-landing support to help you navigate your move and integrate into the Canadian startup ecosystem.

Many of our founders choose to travel to Canada to build traction, attend expos and trade fairs, secure booths, and connect with early partners, investors, or clients. We help coordinate these efforts—managing logistics so you can focus on what matters most.

Yes. We leverage our network within Canada’s startup ecosystem to introduce you to relevant partners, accelerators, funders, legal and immigration experts, and more—when your startup is ready.

Our free readiness assessment includes:

  • A 30-minute discovery call

  • Evaluation of your product, team, and goals

  • Insights into your market entry readiness

  • A tailored next-steps roadmap

It’s the best way to understand where you stand and how we can support your expansion.

We offer flexible pricing models depending on the scope—ranging from one-time workshops to multi-year advisory programs. Custom packages are available for startups with specific goals or timelines.

Easy! Just book a free Readiness Assessment through our site or complete the assessment form. We’ll take it from there.

No, we’re not immigration consultants or lawyers, so we don’t provide immigration services directly. If a client approaches us without an immigration consultant, we may introduce them to professionals we know and trust — but there’s no obligation to work with them. Clients are free to choose any licensed immigration representative they prefer.

We primarily work with incubators. While this requires ongoing support and involvement from our side throughout the incubation period — which can be demanding — we believe it’s well worth it. Incubators offer structured programs that allow startups to build documented, meaningful traction. This not only helps strengthen the business itself but also adds significant value when it comes time to demonstrate progress and credibility in the PR stage of the Startup Visa process.
